John Grisham, writer and one of the most famous lawyers

If you ever thought that the life of a lawyer is boring you should read books by John Grisham to see the life of American lawyers and attorneys at a quite different angle.

John Grisham is a well-known American author of legal thrillers many of which became bestsellers in a lot of countries. I never knew that books about lawyers could be interesting before I had decided to read books by John Grisham and Michael Connelly when I was looking for something new to read. Unexpectedly I was fascinated by the story and smartness of lawyers portrayed by these writers. John Grisham had been practicing criminal law for a long time after graduation from Mississippi State University and attending the University of Mississippi School of Law, and this fact made me appreciate his books even more. His outstanding writing talent has definitely made John Grisham one of the world's most famous lawyers.

Ruxandra Cesereanu caricature

The reference photograph

I was asked by a representative of Romanian Cartoonists Association to draw a series of caricatures of famous Romanian personalities for their website. I had chosen a few persons whose caricatures I created and Ruxandra Cesereanu (a Romanian poet, essayist, short story writer, novelist and literary critic) was among them. This caricature was drawn with a Pentel Pocket brush pen.
